Where does the EURS supply figure come from?
Read from the EURS contracts on every chain we track, minus 1 issuer wallet that a public source names as not issued yet or waiting to be burned (listed on this page). Bridged copies are counted once. It is compared with DefiLlama's figure; the difference is explained on this page.
How is the EURS gap measured?
Its latest USD price (from its pool, or DefiLlama) is compared with the latest market rate for EUR (Wise mid-market, from Reuters) where we have it, else the ECB reference rate. The stablecoin page, the EUR page and the FX page use the same rate, so they show the same gap. Zero means exactly at the market rate, + means it costs more USD than the market rate, − less; 100 bps = 1%.
Why is EURS shown in USD?
EURS has a trading price ($1.11, from its Curve pool on Ethereum), so its supply is shown in USD at that price.
Where does this data come from?
Supply
We read EURS's supply from its contracts on Ethereum, Stellar and Algorand. Our onchain read is 1.46% higher than DefiLlama's. We show ours. DefiLlama also lists EURS on Gnosis, which we don't read.
By chain
Ethereum 85.0% ($6.57M), Stellar 14.1% ($1.09M), Algorand 0.9% ($72.43K)
Price
Price from the Curve EURS/USDC pool on Ethereum (0.45% fee). The pool's smaller side holds $1.97M. View pool ↗ DefiLlama's price ($1.1239) is 1.1% from it. We use the pool when the two are within 3%.
History
Built chain by chain since 2020-01-31. Ethereum: our contract reads, one per month end, then daily. Algorand: DefiLlama's per-chain series, because we can't read past supply there. Stellar from 2024-06-28 until 2026-09-28 is from DefiLlama. Past supply is a totalSupply read at a past block, where we can make one. Mint and burn events are the count where we use them. Where we have neither, the chart uses DefiLlama's series for that chain and names it. Hyperliquid L1 starts at our first daily read, because its node has no past state. Algorand: Supply before DefiLlama's first day is total supply minus the reserve, replayed from Algonode indexer asset transfers. Stellar: Horizon asset data is current state, not a read at that ledger.
